Hotel & Room | A small hotel in the center of Røros, right next to the church. The building dates from the 1600s and is marked by the same atmosphere as the other wooden buildings in UNESCO-listed Røros. The hotel has 24 uniquely decorated rooms, traditional but fully modern.

Røros is a World Heritage City with high cultural value. Some of the hotel's buildings are Grade II listed and the atmosphere is absolutely outstanding.
The 24 rooms are uniquely decorated with a mix of old furniture and modern equipment. Old utensils and rustic timber walls create a special feeling. All rooms have a kitchenette, flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi.
Breakfast at Erzscheidergarden is almost world famous! Every morning the scent of freshly baked bread and waffles can be felt in the cozy dining room. The breakfast offers fresh salads, herring, various cured meats, eggs, cheese, honey, homemade jams and marmalade. In the lobby with its cozy fireplace, there is always fresh coffee, tea and homemade cakes on offer. If you would like a cognac with your coffee its possible.
After a hearty breakfast it's time to venture out and explore Røros. Skiing, walking and dog sledding are just some of the activities offered. Røros Museum, the Olav mine or a visit to one of the many local craftshops is recommended. The hotelstaff will be happy to recommend good restaurants and other venues in town.
